Steps for Brain Tumour Research

Please read the message below from Pip Ealey-Newman, mother of our players Ben and Josh..

In February I am walking 10,000 steps a day for Brain Tumour Research in memory of my father and Ben #78 and Josh's #63 grandad Gerald Ealey.

Ben and Josh never got to meet their grandfather as he was taken from us by a gliomablastoma brain tumour in 1996 . I want to help find a cure for brain tumours so other families don't have to suffer like mine has.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate , they can affect anyone at any age . They kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer. Brain tumour research is the only national charity in the UK that is dedicated to raising funds for continuous and sustainable scientific research into brain tumours and they are leading the way calling for greater support and action for research .
