Streatham IHC are pleased to announce that 18-year-old Ethan Lane will become a full-time member of the squad this current season.
Ethan joined us last term on a two way with the NIHL2 Streatham Blackhawks and showed he has the ability to make an impact at this level. Ethan had limited ice time across the year last term but when called upon he made an impact with his high intensity, and ability to finish his hits. He also showed his offensive ability scoring 6 goals and adding assists to 3 others.
Coach Ben Paynter commented,
“Much like Preston, Ethan is another product of our relationship with the junior clubs in Streatham, he has been training with the team for some time and gained some valuable game experience last year as part of his two way. He really made an impact at times scoring some nice goals and playing physical. He isn’t afraid to get stuck in and has a great shot that I think will cause goalies at this level a problem. He is always asking questions and wanting to improve which is great to see and I can’t wait to see how he develops further this coming campaign.”
Ethan Commented,
“I am excited to join the Streatham Redhawks for my first full season with the team. I look forward to learning from the experienced players and growing as a player. I am committed to giving my best and I will work hard to help Streatham win more trophies.
See you all in September!”
