Coach returns
#14 come back to the SIHC...
The club are very pleased to announce that #14 Ben Paynter has agreed to return as head coach for the 2023/24 season. Ben's first year as coach he did a fantastic job and achieved a huge amount for the SIHC!
Ben put together another great squad for the 2022-23 season including bringing up three more under 18's and winning the club, another league title and a second play-off championship.
He is already working hard to build on the success of a fantastic 22-23 season ready and will be looking to hopefully win some more silverware.
Graham D'Anger (Team Management) commented,
'I'm already excited to be working with Ben on what will hopefully be another enjoyable season for the Streatham Ice Hockey Club.'
Coach Paynter commented,
'When Graham asked me back to continue coaching for the 2023/24 season I was thrilled. We have a good thing going on here and I’m keen to improve this team year on year. The High road is home to me now and I don’t see my self playing anywhere else.
We have already started building for the 2023/24 season behind the scenes and we are exited to start bringing these announcements soon. Keep your eyes peeled!'
