Milton Returns

The Streatham Redhawks are please to announce that Danny Milton has agreed to return to the Redhawks in a full time capacity for the 2023-24 season.

Milton joined the club last season as part of a 3 way goal tending team sharing the net with Tom Annetts and Nate Gregory and we are thrilled to announce that he will be returning to the club with the ambition to log more minutes off the back of the retirement of Tom Annetts. 

Danny showed what he could do last year back stopping the team to lift the NIHL South 1 Play off trophy. His impressive play through out the season showed why he is regarded as one of the best net minders in the league recording a .953 save percentage.

Coach Paynter commented,

“Signing one of the best goalies in the league is going to give us a chance to win every night, we have been lucky to have such high end goal tending over the last few seasons and securing Milts continues that trend. He instills confidence in the team and is a great guys to have around the locker room. He has been around for a long time and understands how to win and he showed that in MK last year at the play off weekend.” 

Milton commented,

I’m excited to be back at streatham for next season. Me and my young family were made to feel so welcome straight away and made it such a lovely environment. 

Im looking forward to a bit more work load next year and of course to retain our league and playoff title. I hope to add a few more trophies aswell! See you in September!
