Ziggy signs for number five

Ziggy fits into the front row once again...
Streatham IHC are delighted to announce the return of Ziggy Beesley to the squad for 2022/23.
The speedy centre will ice at the High Road for a third season after playing his part in our league and cup double last year. Known for his quick feet, agility and playmaking, the 22 year old is gearing up for the new team.
“I’m delighted to be back playing my hockey in streatham for a 5th year now! I have trust in coach Paynts and we’ll continue to build on the success we have already achieved over the last few years, also Lyn & Dave wouldn’t let me sign for anyone else! See you guys in September 😄”
Ziggy adds to a front line that will build into a solid team. Coach Ben Paynter added.
“Ziggy for me is a coaches perfect player, he comes to the rink with a great attitude and is willing to put in the work every time he is on the ice. He can play up and down the line up and is a solid 2 way centre that can adapt his game to suits the needs of the team. I’m looking for Ziggy to build off of the season he has last year while maintaining a consistent, reliable & hard working game that is key for teams to have success. Ziggy is a great guys who always has a smile on his face which has endeared him to his team mates and fans a like.”

They cost £100 for either the home or away jersey and you get to add a message to the back of the jersey and keep it at the end of the season – we will wash out any game stains (unless you want them left on).
