Streatham IHC are delighted to welcome back the lively forward Danny Ingoldsby to the ice for the #SIHC.
The 23 year old former GB international sounded pretty happy.
“Looking forward to being back for another year, when Paynts asked there was no doubt, we have a wicked team already. Having a great group of lads to play with makes it even better, I’m excited to see what September brings, I’ll see you all for another great season soon.”
Ingoldsby grew up playing junior hockey for Guildford where he lit up the u16 league before getting his first shot at senior hockey with Basingstoke. Spells at Bracknell and Wightlink followed, including a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships for GB uder 18’s.
Coach Ben Paynter commented that:
“Danny is a player that has lots of different aspects to offer. He is great in the room bringing a good atmosphere and plenty of laughs.
He keeps himself in great shape and can play lots of minutes when required. I’m looking for Danny to continue to put the puck in the net and play with a physical edge and create energy when needed. Danny has the ability to be a top player in this league and I’m glad he is back for another season!”
