Streatham IHC are pleased to announce that Tomasz Skokan will be returning for his 3rd season with the club.
The Polish defensemen first iced for the Redhawks in 2022 where he immediately made an impact to the squad with his offensive game from the blue line. The defenceman who has represented his country at U18 & U20 level has posted over a point a game with the Redhawks while maintaining a solid defensive game. One notable goal coming in last year’s National Final at Coventry where he rifled a point shot into the top corner to make it 2-0 on the night!
Welcome back Tomasz!
Coach Ben Paynter had the following to say,
“Having Tomasz back for another year was critical for us to keep moving in the right direction, he has been one of our key contributors over the last 2 season from the blue line and his offensive upside while being solid on D is something that isn’t easy to find. He has a great stick, moves the puck well and adds intensity and speed when needed. He can also chip in with important goals when needed.”
Tomasz commented on his return,
“I'm absolutely happy I'll be staying in Streatham for the next year. It was a decision made without any hesitation. I'm eagerly looking forward to the new season and the amazing support from our fans! See you in September!”
