Streatham IHC are delighted to announce the return of Jared Lane to the roster for the remainder of the 2023/24 season after a return to the country from travels.
Jared joined the club at the beginning of last season from the Guildford Phoenix and immediately showed the quality he could bring to the Redhawks at NIHL1 level returning 31 points in 25 games while bringing a calm composed presence on the puck.
Coach Paynter commented,
‘Being able to bring a player like Jared back into the fold at this point is huge for us. We have a few injuries at the moment so being able to bring a player with Jared quality in is a huge boost for us. He is calm on the puck, can make plays and create offensively and is responsible in his own end. I think he will slot in seamlessly and give us another dimension to our line up that we are potentially missing at the moment.’
Jared commented,
‘Having had a successful season last year at streatham, coming back this year was a no brainer for me. Looking forward to getting back on the ice after a long break.’
Jared will return to the ice in number 51 this weekend at home against the Slough Jets, face off at 6.45pm.
