Streatham opened up a ten point lead at the top of NIHL South 1 with a convincing win over third placed Chelmsford Chieftains on the High Road.
With second placed Invicta Dynamos slipping up in Romford, the RedHawks extended their lead at the top with a 7-3 scoreline and two more points in the bag.
Vanya Antonov starred for the hosts in front of a large home crowd, by opening the scoring on the way to a four goal personal performance. Danny Ingoldsby, Conner Smith and Sam Waller each scored to complete the Streatham tally. Goal machine Stan Lascek, Darren Brown and Grant Bartlett scored the consolation efforts for the Essex side.
Streatham now have to wait three weeks before their next home game, as Romford head south of the river on 19 February. Tickets are available online here.
Michael Farn's men travel to Invicta Dynamos tomorrow in the London Cup knowing a win will see the team win their second competition of the season.
