Streatham IHC are delighted to announce the return of Scott Bailey to the new squad for 20220/23. The Forward will take his place ice on the High Road rink for a new season after playing his part in our awesome games last year. The London born forward played a key role on on the ice.
Scott commented,
“Pleased to have signed back at streatham for another season, it was another easy decision to me with paynts stepping up as coach and most of the team dynamic staying the same too. Last season was a real success for all of us including the fans and everyone who helps out within the streatham organisation and having the opportunity to win more trophies again was a no brainer for myself”
Bailey played his junior hockey in Slough, before a spell in Canada where he played midget for OHA and then in the US with a team in Carolina. He returned to the UK and signed up with the ill-fated Manchester Phoenix before heading back South in 2016/17.
Scott adds to a roster that already includes Jordan Gregory, Ziggy Beesley, James Warman, Vanya Antonov, Ryan Watt plus Player Coach Ben Paynter who commented that,
“I’m pleased to have Bails back. He has good hands and a great shot giving him all the tools to be a top offensive threat in this league. I’m looking for Bailey to take his game to next level and score big goals when they’re needed and be a go to guy.
He is a great guy that fits in with our group well and is a part of our core that I wanted to keep together so it is great to have him back with the redhawks.”
