Martin Switches Yellow for Red

Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the signing of Josh Martin from the Bees of the National League.

Our latest new face joins the Redhawks for the 2023/24 season after a lengthy spell with the Berkshire based club. The forward will bring a hardworking, gritty, nononsense style of play that will quickly make him a fan favourite on the High Road.

Coach Paynter commented, 

‘I've wanted to sign Josh for a while now and I’m excited to persuade him to come over to Streatham. I have known him for a long time and I have no doubt he will fit in with the guys perfectly. He plays a style of hockey that I love, he works hard, isn’t afraid to go to the dirty areas and I believe he will put up good offensive numbers this coming season.’ 

Josh commented,

‘Im really looking forward to playing in Streatham. I’ve played with a lot of the lads before and it will nice to play with them again. Streatham is a top club with a winning mentality and hopefully I can play a part in keeping it that way’
