Streatham IHC are delighted to welcome lively forward Danny Ingoldsby to the squad for another season.
The 23 year old former GB international scored 28 goals and notched 17 assists last season after joining us from Basingstoke Bison, a career best haul.
“I’m glad to be back” said Ingoldsby who was born in Frimley.
“It will be a good year and I’m looking forward to it. It’s a shame last season ended as it did so hopefully we can pick up where we left off.”
Ingoldsby grew up playing junior hockey for Guildford where he lit up the u16 league before getting his first shot at senior hockey with Basingstoke. Spells at Bracknell and Wightlink followed, including a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships for GB uder 18’s.
Danny is our final returnee from the 2019/20 league and cup double winning squad and coach Michael Farn is pleased to have him back on board. He said:
“Danny is direct and physical player who certain makes an impact every time he takes the ice. He’s a character around the room and brings energy on and off the ice.
“He scores big goals and I’m hoping for more of the same next season.”
To own and loan Danny Ingoldsby’s Streatham jerseys this season please email streatham1972@yahoo.co.uk .
