Streatham shut-out league leaders Slough Jets to extend run.

Streatham moved up to second place in the league after thumping table topping Slough Jets 7-0 on their own ice.

It took just thirty seconds for the RedHawks to open the scoring as Ben Paynter converted a Scott Bailey pass to stun the home crowd. Eight minutes James Warman made it 2-0 with yet another goal – his third of the season, this time from Adam Wood.

With just under 13 minutes on the clock it was 3-0 as former Slough man Brandon Miles converted assisted by Vanya Antonov and Jordan Gregory.

The second period saw the RedHawks extend their lead to 5-0 thanks to a powerplay effort from Ziggy Beesley and a first of the night from Antonov. In the third the travelling support cheered two more goals as Captain Michael Farn scored four minutes from the restart and Antonov rounded the game off in style with a penalty shot to make it 7-0.
