"It was another one game weekend last week and we had a big crowd in again to see us lift the trophy which was great. The league title has been won but obviously we didn't want to lose the game in that setting, so I was pleased that we did, even if I thought we weren't at our best at all. We made far too many soft plays and giveaways, but I also know its tough going from the highs of the week before and having every point matter, to a situation where we didn't need to win.
"Games are never meaningless because we want to win every game but not as much was on the line. That's the challenge for us over the next few weeks as we head to the Play-Offs because you cant just switch performances on and off if we want to continue to be successful.
"We want to continue the winning streak, starting with a very tough trip to Solent on Saturday and a revitalised MK Thunder who've improved lately. We've actually got quite a few missing bodies through injury now so we'll rest them up to allow the niggling injuries to heal and use our squad depth as best we can.
"Thanks for all your support and see you at the rink."
