Experience Returns to the Blue Line

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that experienced D-man Sam Waller has agreed to return to the club for the 2023/24 Season.

Sam joined the club back at the start of the 2021/22 season after 5 years out of the sport and since returning to the sport has shown why he was regarded so highly before his absence. Sam adds experience and offence to our D line and is sure to be a hit back on the High Road.

Coach Paynter commented, 

‘Waller adds so much to our defence that goes unnoticed and was a key part of my plans for this season. He skates well, moves the puck well, has a great shot from the point and can play in all situations. His team mates look up to him and I think he will have another great year.’

Sam commented,

‘Im really happy to be back playing on the High Road, we have a great group of guys who know how to win. I’m looking forward to whatever challenges are put in front of us and see what we can achieve as a team.’
