Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that Jared Lane will be returning to the redhawks for his 3rd term.
The guildford junior joined the redhawks back at the start of the 2022/23 season after spending his whole career up to that point with his home town side other than a short spell with the bracknell bees in 2017/18.
In his time at the High Road the play making forward has always had a pass first mentality leading him to 38 assists over 41 games and totalling 56 points.
Coach Ben Paynter commented,
“Bringing Jared back for another year was a priority for me this coming season, he has quickly become part of the core we have here in streatham and comes to compete every night. He moves the puck well, is calm under pressure and in big moment and I can rely on him to play in all situations. He adds a dynamic to our offence that not a lot of teams have and delivers every night.
He wasn’t available last season to start the season due to personal reasons but as soon as he was available and back in the line up I feel the team found another gear and started to really push on.”
Jared commented on his return,
“Following a very successful season it was a no brainer when Paynts asked me to come back to Streatham this year. Hopefully we can carry our recent success into next season and win some more silverware, see you all in September.”
