Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that Jeremy Cornish will continue as Head Coach for the 2017/18 season.

The 37 year old Canadian joined the club at the end of October 2016 replacing previous incumbent Nick Chinn. The RedHawks had won only two of their opening nine games at this point and they eventually climbed to 3rd place in the league by the end of the campaign.

Tonight our season ended after a defeat at Invicta. The truth is that next season we will be back stronger thanks to the fantastic support of our fans and volunteers.

Two players who are hanging up the skates will not be back on the ice in 2017/18. Tonight we thank them for their service and their immense contributions to the history of our historic club. They join those who have gone before them in our memories of on-ice heroics in that famous jersey.

Thank you Liam Rasmussen and Joe Johnston.

When former Streatham player Adam Goldstone brought the team back after a ten year absence in 2004, one of the first people he called was Joe Johnston.

The current Streatham Captain is the final remaining playing link to the 1993/94 team pictured above. Goldstone looks back at the Streatham hockey family and Joes part in it.
