A message from our Player Coach

Hello everyone, 

Excitement was building in and round the organisation over recent months, but finally seeing the fixtures gave us that confirmation that the season was just around the corner. There’s always a extra buzz when the fixtures are released but I felt it even more so this year after such a long lay off due to the pandemic. The build up on social media and the general excitement online of fans and players across all teams has been great to see.

The league is looking competitive with some strong signings around the league, but I am confident that the team that we are putting on the ice should be competing each night and for every trophy that is up for grabs.

Fingers crossed that we are now on our way back to ‘normality’ without any unexpected hurdles to overcome. We want to see the rinks full around the league and most importantly get the High Road rocking again, making our rink a fortress.

We know so many people have gone through so much, and some have sadly lost loved ones along the way, and it is a time we will all never forget. The aims for our team this season is to play some exciting hockey for the Streatham faithful and bring some joy back to peoples weekends. 

Thanks for sticking with us and we can’t wait to see you all again.
