Streatham Ice Hockey Club in South London is one of the oldest clubs in the UK, established in 1932.
We enjoy strong links to the community and of course, our fans. Without our loyal fans, ice hockey in Streatham would not exist! At every game, you bring the noise and support the boys. Our History
Streatham Ice Hockey Club is a British ice hockey club based in South London. Originally founded in 1932 as Streatham, the name Redskins was added in 1974. During the 1980s, we were one of the leading teams in the British Hockey League.
During the 2015/16 season, we formalised a decision that had been on the cards for some time by dropping the Redskins part of the name. During the close season, fans, players and management voted to change the name of the club to Streatham Ice Hockey Club, keeping it simple and staying true to our roots.
