Nate between the pipes again

Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the return of netminder Nate Gregory to the club for the 2019/20 campaign.

Nate missed part of last season through injury but is now fit and raring to go between the pipes.

The 22 year old stopper learnt his trade in the junior system at Bracknell, before a spell in Chestermere, Alberta Canada where he spent two seasons.

A return to the UK saw Nate sign with Bracknell Hornets before switching to the bright lights of South London in 2017.

"Nate has proven over the last two years when he is given the chance he is a quality young goalie" explained RedHawks Head Coach Adam Carr.

"He hasn't had too much game time over the last two years but this year he will be given the chance to challenge Damo for the starting place.

"Challenging for places pushes people to up their game and bring out the best in players.
I know Nate is keen for more ice so I am looking forward to see him take his chances."

Gregory joins Damien King to complete our netminding team for the 2019/20 season with the latter confirmed as returning earlier in the summer.

"I'm excited to be back for the third year" said the Woking born goalie.

"It's a great organisation to play for and I'm excited to be coached by Carsy and be a part of the group of guys he's got together. Expectations are high and rightly so"
