Jordan returns

Streatham IHC are pleased to confirm that defenseman Jordan Gregory will be lining up for his third season in SW16.

The 23 year old Woking born blue liner had an injury hit campaign last season but will be fit and raring to go come September. Gregory joined us from Bracknell in 2017, after a spell with Wightlink Raiders.

He learnt his trade in Berkshire with Bracknell juniors and is known for his physical play and strength in front of the net and in the corners.

“I’m a big fan of Jord” explained Coach Adam Carr. “He is a solid reliable D man who does the little things right. He was unfortunate last year with his injury but he is coming back this year raring to go.

“I know I can put him out in any situation and he will do his job. He plays physical and strong in the defensive zone. He is a great shot blocker and is willing to put his body on the line for the team.”

Gregory has played 68 times in Streatham colours since he arrived in 2017, and should he stay fit, will reach the 100 game milestone this coming campaign.

“I’m looking forward to another season putting the RedHawks` shirt back on” he admitted.

“I believe we will have a strong team and with Carsy as the coach this season. I believe all the boys will really buy in to what he wants from the team and hopefully compete all season and challenge for all silverware.”

You can own and loan Jordan’s home or away jersey for £100. Your name or message will be on the back of the jersey all season and you get to keep it at the end. Demand is always high for these jerseys so please email  and you will be put in a draw.

You can view Gregory’s career stats here.

We will be announcing new signings and returnees across the summer as the coach builds his squad. The new season begins in September and we will have ticket news as soon as the fixtures are finalised later in the summer.
