Siagris returns

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that Canadian forward Andreas Siagris will be returning to the club for the 2018/19 season.

The 20 year old British Columbia native joined us towards the end of last season and scored 12 goals and 7 assists in 23 games.

“Andreas signed after the start of the season and I think it took him a while to get up to speed” said Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

“Having said that, he finished the season very strong and became one of our best forwards by the end of the year. He's not the biggest of players, but plays the game at a high speed and the puck seems to follow him around the ice.”

“He's super skilled and with him completing his studies this year in the city, it was an easy choice to have him back. He will be a big part of our line-up this season and I'm expecting him to up his offensive output from last year.”

Siagris also represented GB Universities at the Universiade in Kazakhstan last year and impressed Streatham fans with his composure and fearless play.

“I’m excited to be back playing at Streatham again for another year” said Siagris, who was a winner at our End of Season awards night.

“I really enjoyed last season and I’m looking forward to going out again and playing hard for our great fans.”
