Gregory back on the blue

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that defenceman Jordan Gregory is returning to the club for the 2018/19 season.

The 22 year old blueliner will ice in his second full campaign for the RedHawks after joining us originally in the summer of 2017.

“Jordan has been with me for a few years now and I'm pretty happy he's decided to return for another season in Streatham” admitted Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

“He's a big, tough d-man that can move the puck very well. Jordan's attitude is fantastic and he always takes a team-first approach to his game. Even though he had a few offers from around the league, I was pleased he decided to stay with us. Jordan likes the direction the team is heading and I'm happy he wants to be a part of it.”

The 6’ 2” defenseman learnt his trade in Bracknell and progressed right through their junior development system before making his senior debut in 2011. He moved to Wightlink Raiders in 2015, before finally signing up in SW16 last summer, before an excellent campaign in his debut year here.

“When Corny gave me a call I was excited to hear what he had to say about this year’s team and what his plans are for the upcoming season” said Gregory.

“We had a good team last year and competed well.  This year I’d like to think we will be higher up the table and pushing for a lot more with the guys we have got and the team Corny has put together.”
