Nate between the pipes

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that talented young goaltender Nate Gregory is returning to the club for the 2018/19 season.

The 20 year old joins Damien King on our goaltending team for the upcoming campaign and is a product of the Bracknell junior development system. Gregory starred in a number of Cup and League games and impressed during his first season in Streatham colours.

“Nate has been with me for a few years now and he is really looking forward to the start of the new year” said Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

“He keeps himself in top shape and this year he will be looking to challenge Damien for ice time. I think we now have the best goal tending pair in the league and I'm relieved we have two very capable goalies at our disposal.”

“I know Nate wants to work hard in training to push Damien and I hope they form a strong bond to help our team win. Nate has never let me down when called upon and can face any team in our league and get a result.

Gregory made his senior debut for the Bracknell Hornets in 2013 before heading to Canada to play for a couple of years. He then returned to the UK where he iced again with Bracknell and also Wightlink Raiders, where he first linked up with Coach Cornish.
