Bailey's Bank Holiday

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that forward Scott Bailey has signed up for the upcoming campaign with the club. Photo by David Trevallion.

The 21 year old forward joins us from Invicta Dynamos where he has played for the past season and a half, following a move from Manchester Phoenix.

“Scott is a player I have spoken to over the last couple of years and one I'm hoping can provide some offense for us this year” said Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

“He's got good size, skates well and can put the puck in the net when given the opportunity. Scott will have the opportunity to play with better players this year and I hope this translates into Scott being extra motivated to help our team win. Scott is looking forward to joining us this year and I'm hoping he becomes a fan favourite on the High Road.”

Bailey originally hails from Guildford, where he learnt his trade in their junior system before moving to Slough, where he eventually made his senior debut as a teenager. A spell across the pond followed as Bailey spent two seasons playing in Ontario, Canada, before a season in Carolina in the USA.

“I’m looking forward to a new challenge with a new team” said Bailey. “I’m excited to be joining Streatham and the chance to play under Cornish. I’m looking forward to seeing what the year will bring.”
