Webb lines up again

Streatham IHC are delighted to announce that forward Ryan Webb will be icing again with the team in the 2018/19 campaign.

The 24 year old former GB junior international first joined the team in 2016 and last year scored 13 goals and 15 assists in the league for the RedHawks.

“Ryan is a player I have had for a number of years now and one of the most committed and dependable players I have ever had” said Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

“He keeps himself in excellent shape and takes his hockey very seriously. He had a much improved year last year playing on our top line with Carr and Watt and I am hoping he can continue where he left off at the end of last season.”

“For Ryan to be effective he knows that he needs to play the game at a high speed and go into the tough areas to score goals. He is one of the most reliable players I have had the pleasure to coach and I can't wait to start the season with him in the line-up.”

Webb started his junior hockey in Guildford before a move to Bracknell, where he made his first senior appearances in 2010 as a teenager. Spells with Slough Jets and Wightlink Raiders followed before a switch to South London.

“I am very excited to be putting on the Streatham shirt for another season” said Webb.

“This is a great club with great fans and I’m sure we will improve from last year and continue to compete with every team in this league”
