Hayes joins RedHawks

Streatham are delighted to announce the signing of former Cardiff and Swindon forward Jamie Hayes who will ice this weekend after his paperwork cleared overnight.

Coach Jeremy Cornish swooped for the 27 year old former GB junior international after he skated with the team over recent weeks following a re-location to the capital.

The powerful forward burst onto the scene with his hometown club in Cardiff as a free scoring junior, before moving to the English Premier League with Swindon Wildcats. He represented his country at u18 and u20 level and last played in 2015/16 when he averaged almost a goal a game with a struggling ENL Devils side.

"Jamie brings something different to the roster" said Cornish on his new signing, who was named an ENL All-Star in 2012.

"He is tough, can score and has lots of experience to bring to our young team. He hasnt played much recently but has been training with us the past few weeks and as he regains full fitness he will be a real asset to the team"

Hayes will ice this weekend and own and loan details will follow.
