Streatham v Swindon build up

The RedHawks take on Swindon Wildcats at 6.45pm this evening in a NIHL game both sides will be eager to win. Streatham beat local rivals London Raiders 4-3 last night, whilst Swindon enjoyed a 7-4 win over Invicta Dynamos on home ice.

Streatham will hold a number of late fitness tests for the squad with defenseman Michael Farn likely to be unavailable again. Coach Jeremy Cornish will aim to continue with a settled side after a strong start to the season that has yielded four wins in five games.

Swindon are undoubtedly one of the biggest clubs in our league and have won their last three games on the trot with impressive victories over Basingstoke Bison and Telford Tigers before last nights win over Invicta. Their key player is Aaron Nell, who bagged four assists last night. The player coach of Swindon is undoubtedly a top player in this league with a great pedigree. His father Steve was a player with the Wildcats himself in the 1990’s after originally hailing from Sunderland in the North East of England.

The matchnight programme includes an interview with Ryan Watt and much more for only £2. Our merchandise stall will be selling exclusive Streatham items throughout the evening, and the period break SCORO offers fans the chance to win over £200 cash.

Tickets are available on the door priced £10 adults and £6 concessions. They are also available online by clicking HERE
