Rose return

Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the return of Dan Rose to the team for 2017/18.

Rose first arrived in Streatham last season making 20 appearances but learnt his trade in Slough where he progressed through the junior ranks.

After winning the league and then captaining the ENL version of the Jets in 2012, Rose stepped up to the English Premier League team in the following season making 40 appearances with his local club.

Spells with Bracknell Hornets and then Wightlink Raiders followed with Rose’s two way play impressing fans of both teams. Known for his playmaking and selfless play, the 25 year old forward adds composure and discipline to the forward line.

‘Dan is a player I have had for a few years now and a player that can play any position on any line when needed’ said Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

‘He is an old-school type of player that are hard to find nowadays. He works relentlessly in each zone, kills penalties and can score when given the opportunity. Dan is a quiet player in the locker room, but one that steps up on the ice every night.’

Dan Rose will wear number 24 and his own and loan jerseys are available now for £100 each.

Simply email to try and secure his home or away jersey. He will wear it all year and you get to keep it at the end of the season (washed of course).
