Webb back again

Streatham IHC are pleased to welcome back young forward Ryan Webb to the club for the 2017/18 season.

The 23 year old joined us midway through last season and brought some much needed speed to the line-up.

A former GB under 18 international, Webb learnt his trade in Guildford before joining Bracknell where he eventually made his senior debut in 2010.

Stints in the EPL with Bracknell Bees and Slough Jets followed before a prolific season with Wightlink Raiders, where he scored 28 goals in 36 appearances for the island side. This helped the Raiders win the play-offs in 2016.

‘Ryan is another player that I have had the pleasure to coach for the last few seasons’ explained Head Coach Jeremy Cornish.

‘He is one of the quickest players in the league and his attitude is fantastic. He is still young and each year he continues to improve, even though last year his numbers dipped offensively, I'm certain he will come good and help lead the way up front.’

‘He enjoyed his time with our club last year and is a a player that is proud to be at the club.’

Ryan’s own and loan jerseys are available now for £100. Simply email to try and secure his home or away jersey. He will wear it all year and you get to keep it at the end of the season (washed of course).
