The big face-off

Our season starts this weekend as we take on the London North Stars in a Charity Challenge game with all admission money going to Breast Cancer Care. The game honours the retirement of former defenseman David Carr and will feature guest of honour Tori Coles.

The game takes place on Saturday at 5.30pm and sees a host of former Streatham favourites return to line up against Nicky Chinn’s squad for 2016/17.

Admission is £10 for adults and £6 concessions and 100% of the money will go to charity.

New signings Euan King and Sean Scarbrough will make their bows for the current Streatham team, whilst stars of recent seasons Jakub Klima, Phil Manny, Michal Oravec, Jamie McIlroy, Dom Hopkins, Stewart Tait, Shane Kemp, Fred Carnegy, Ed Koral, Stefan Nubert and Andy Cox will all be icing for the North Stars along with some of Carrsy’s former team mates from his other clubs including Darren Elliott and Lee Mercer.

The North Stars jerseys will be auctioned off after the game and you can bid for them on the night.

The Streatham Scoro board will also launch ahead of its regular spot between the period breaks. Can you fire a puck through the whole to win a cash prize?!

Doors open at 5pm and a full bar and café will be operating.
