More departures

After we revealed that forwards Sean Scarbrough and Callum Best would not be returning next season, we have news of two more departures from the squad.

Goalie Aaron Taylor departs the club after just under two seasons in South London.  The 28 year old Brighton born stopper was brought in midway through the 2013/14 season from Solent Devils and impressed fans with his performances in between the pipes.

Taylors finest moment in a Redskins jersey was arguably his penalty showdown display in the NIHL Cup semi-final against Invicta, where he denied the Mo’s victory with some stunning saves. Running that display close was Taylor's heroics in helping Streatham win on the Isle of Wight for the first time in twenty years last season.

Also absent from the line-up next season will be popular local forward Louis Lockwood.

The 23 year old has decided to take a year away from the game to go travelling.

Both players depart with our best wishes and thanks for their efforts.

We will be announcing our first new signing of the season this weekend so please keep an eye on the website.
