Klima returns

Streatham Redskins have moved to sign Czech forward Jakub Klima, who will make his debut this coming Sunday against London Raiders.
The 24 year old joins us for his second spell at the club after playing for both Invicta Dynamos and London Raiders in the last two seasons.

In his first stint at the club in 2012/13, Klima proved to be a revelation, picking up NIHL South Player of the Season and making the league all-star team.

His 39 goals and 36 assists propelled a reasonably average Redskins team to challenge the bigger clubs and his nack of scoring at important times made him a fan favourite.

The Liberec born player actually first came to England to play for Chelmsford Chieftains in 2011/12 when he won the Play-Offs at the first attempt with the Essex side.

Klima started this season with this weekend's opponents London Raiders and left them around a month ago in a dispute with the team management.

Now back on the ice in South London, Klima trained with his new team mates last night and will make his debut on Sunday against who else, but London Raiders!
