Streatham Redskins aim to stay top of the league this weekend as they take on local rivals London Raiders in SW16. It is a battle between South and East London that is always keenly fought, sometimes literally.

Streatham cemented their place at the top of NIHL South with a gritty 5-4 road win at Oxford City Stars. Streatham were once again ravaged by withdrawals as Chris Wiggins failed to recover from an illness picked up the night before, joining Captain Joe Johnston, forward Michael Ranby and defenseman Caz Britton on the sidelines.

Streatham Redskins fell to a 4-1 defeat against Chelsmford Chieftains in South London in a game that was tied until a late collapse by the home side in the final ten minutes of the game.

Streatham were rocked pre-game as Captain Joe Johnston withdrew with injury to join Caz Britton and Michael Ranby on the sidelines. On the plus side Nick Chinn returned to the line up along with defenseman James Warman.

After the cancellation of London Oktoberfest at Tobacco Dock this weekend, we realise that there are thousands of people with lederhosens in the capital and nowhere to go.

Streatham Redskins are in home action again this coming Saturday as the unbeaten Chelmsford Chieftains head to South London for some National Ice Hockey League action. Streatham are currently in first place in the league and will be looking to stay at the top with a win.

This week we have our latest competition to win a game used hockey stick from our locker room. Last time the signed stick by Liam Rasmussen was won by Craig Newman, but this time round we have a Sherwood stick signed by #82 Chris Wiggins.

Streatham Redskins returned to winning ways as they beat Bracknell Hornets 10-2 in South London. The Redskins welcomed back Adam Mahoney to the line-up along with Daniel Clayton as Streatham looked to bounce back from the loss the night before.

Streatham Redskins are in league action again this evening as Bracknell Hornets come to South London for a 6.45pm face-off. Tickets are available at £10 adults and £6 concessions.

Streatham suffered their first league defeat of the season as they succumbed to two late goals from Invicta Dynamos in the last six minutes to lose 4-3. The home side were once again without Nicky Chinn, Michael Ranby and James Warman for a game in which they were hoping to cement their title credentials.

Table topping Streatham Redskins are looking to extend their unbeaten start in the league this weekend as they face two home games over the two days. Long time rivals Invicta Dynamos visit on Saturday with Bracknell Hornets coming to the Streatham Ice Arena on Sunday.
