Thanks to an impressive qualification round where the team won all eight of their group fixtures, Streatham will take part in the quarter final of the National Ice Hockey League Cup.

The RedHawks have a break in the fixtures with no games over Christmas or New Year. The next games take place on the weekend of the 6th/7th January with a home game against Milton Keynes Thunder followed by a trip to Invicta Dynamos.

After an impressive home win over Bracknell Bees, Streatham travelled up to Milton Keynes to take on the Thunder in the final game of 2017 for both teams. The Thunder had proven to be a tough nut to crack in the two previous games played this campaign, and indeed Buckinghamshire has not been a place Streatham have traditionally performed well in recent years. Streatham slipped to two defeats in 48 hours as they lost 7-4 to Basingstoke Bison on home ice after a 3-2 reverse at London Raiders the previous evening. Report by Chris Hilson.

We have our penultimate game of 2017 this Sunday as we take on the Basingstoke Bison in Streatham at 6.45pm. With eight wins in the last nine games the team are flying, and Head Coach Jeremy Cornish has issued a rallying call for fans to come down and pack the rink ahead of the Christmas break.
