Streatham face local rivals London Raiders this coming Sunday at Streatham Ice Arena, looking to take two points in the NIHL Cup. The RedHawks have a tricky away game in the league 24 hours earlier at Peterborough Phantoms so will need to be on top form.

Tickets are available online in advance or on the gate priced at £10 adults and £6 concessions.

Streatham made it a four point weekend with a convincing 9-2 win over the Cardiff Fire in South London. The RedHawks welcomed back Joe Allen to the line-up after he missed the Cup win over London Raiders the previous night.

Streatham IHC open the National Ice Hockey League campaign tonight as we host Cardiff Fire at Streatham Arena. The RedHawks are fresh from a win at local rivals London Raiders last night but have a tough challenge against a new look Fire side. Streatham started the new season in style with a 5-3 road win against local rivals London Raiders in the NIHL Cup. The RedHawks travelled with a full squad minus Joe Allen to a rink they’ve had mixed fortunes at in recent seasons.

The team took delivery of a batch of Pride Tape this week ahead of a series of activities to show support for the LGBT community. The players will be using the tape in one of our upcoming games and tested it out at training on Thursday. The forwards reportedly scored more goals than usual with the goalies adding the rainbow colours to their list of ready made excuses for anytime a puck goes past them.

Streatham face local rivals London Raiders in the Cup this coming Saturday and then 24 hours later host new boys Cardiff Fire in the league as the 2017/18 season starts with a bang. The much improved Raiders will be a stern test at Lee Valley Ice Centre for the new look RedHawks side, and on Sunday we see our former player coach Nick Chinn making his return to SW16 with the Welsh team.

Streatham eased through their London derby challenge game with a 12-0 defeat of Lee Valley Lions at Streatham Arena. Streatham iced their new look team against a Lions side boosted by a line of players from fellow NIHL2 side Invicta Mustangs. The healthy crowd also featured recently retired Streatham legends Liam Rasmussen and Joe Johnston, with the latter bringing his six week old future Streatham hockey player Jacob with him for his first game.

A number of RedHawks players took to the ice for the first time this week after a delay to ice pad improvements forced the team into a later start date of training.

It was a light session conducted by Assistant Coach Terry England and gave some of our new signings their first experience of training in SW16, and for new signing Michael Farn from the EPL his first ever visit to the facility.

Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the team Captain and Alternates for the 2017/18 season. 

With club legend Joe Johnston retiring, the captaincy of our historic team became vacant for the first time in five years this summer. Coach Jeremy Cornish has opted to give new signing Adam Carr the ‘C’ with Adam Wood and Ryan Watt taking the ‘A’s’.
