The Quarter Final stage of the National Ice Hockey League Cup will see us play former English Premier League Champions Telford Tigers over two legs. Our home game will be the first leg on Sunday 14 January at Streatham Ice Arena with a 6.45pm face off.

Streatham Ice Hockey Club are saddened to learn of the passing of Jim Graham who died on 30th December after a long battle with cancer. Jim was a popular figure around the rink since walking through the doors in 2008, after moving to the UK from his native Canada.

Streatham started 2018 in style with a 5-2 road win in Kent against the Invicta Dynamos.

The RedHawks welcomed back Ryan Webb to the line- up but travelled without the injured Adam Wood and suspended pair Ben Paynter and Brandon Miles. Import Andreas Siagris was also unavailable due to personal reasons.

After a three week break over the festive period, Streatham took to the ice against Milton Keynes Thunder in front of the biggest crowd of the season so far at Streatham Arena.

Streatham face-off 2018 with a home fixture against Milton Keynes Thunder in South London. The game is a rare Saturday home fixture on 6th January and face-off is at 5.30pm. The RedHawks have not reported any fresh injury concerns ahead of the fixture and will look to start strongly after a three week break.

Canadian forward Andreas Siagris is determined not to let his focus slip as he takes advantage of a break in the RedHawks fixtures over the festive period to fly back to his native British Columbia. The 20 year old signed off 2017 in style as Streatham secured a four point weekend as wins over Bracknell Bees and Milton Keynes Thunder moved them up to seventh position in the Britton Conference.

Thanks to an impressive qualification round where the team won all eight of their group fixtures, Streatham will take part in the quarter final of the National Ice Hockey League Cup.

The RedHawks have a break in the fixtures with no games over Christmas or New Year. The next games take place on the weekend of the 6th/7th January with a home game against Milton Keynes Thunder followed by a trip to Invicta Dynamos.

After an impressive home win over Bracknell Bees, Streatham travelled up to Milton Keynes to take on the Thunder in the final game of 2017 for both teams. The Thunder had proven to be a tough nut to crack in the two previous games played this campaign, and indeed Buckinghamshire has not been a place Streatham have traditionally performed well in recent years.
