Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the signing of Canadian forward Andreas Siagris, who has been training with the side in recent weeks. Siagris made his debut in the 5-2 win against Invicta Dynamos and impressed with his speed and workrate.

Coach Jeremy Cornish handed a debut to new signing Andreas Siagris who had been training with the team in recent weeks but lined up missing starting goalie Matt Colclough and defensive pair Jordan Gregory and Brendan Baird.

Streatham aim to bounce back from a frustrating weekend with a road trip to Invicta Dynamos on Saturday and then a home fixture against title chasing Basingstoke Bison the following day. Tickets for the home game on Sunday are priced at £10 adults and £6 concessions.

With Peterborough Phantoms currently on a run of great form, Streatham were keen to cause an upset and they immediately piled on the pressure as soon as the puck dropped. Grabbing hold of the game, Ryan Watt fired in an early shot but it was deflected away by the Phantoms netminder.

Streatham host Peterborough Phantoms this Sunday at 6.45pm for the first time in history. The Phantoms are flying high with five wins in five in the league, however the RedHawks welcome back Ryan Watt to the line up and it should be a great game of National League Ice Hockey.

Streatham IHC became the first UK team to use Pride Tape in a competitive league fixture during their game against Milton Keynes Thunder last weekend. The use of the tape showed support for the LGBTQ community and associated organisations.

Following their loss against Bracknell Bees on Saturday, Streatham were hoping to grab some points as they hosted Milton Keynes Thunder in their first meeting of the season. The Redhawks achieved another first for themselves and UK ice hockey as they became the first club to play with Pride Tape on their sticks.
