David Carr is off on his travels, so this is Ponchos For Chickens filling in!  Please excuse any information I may have left out… Streatham reversed the score from their only fixture last weekend by beating Milton Keynes Thunder four one.

Hockey is back in Streatham on Saturday night as Milton Keynes come to South London for a 5.30pm face off. Tickets are available online or on the gate priced £12 adults and £7 concessions. There will be a SCORO competition between the second and third periods where two lucky fans get the chance to fire a puck on the ice for cash.

Despite a full sixty minute effort and a big push for the win, Streatham Storm Division 1 team suffered a 3-4 home loss against promotion rivals Swindon Topcats last weekend. Report by Jasmine Willson.

Streatham suffered a 5-1 loss to the Bracknell Bees in south London, thanks to four late goals for the visitors. The RedHawks only goal came from Scott Bailey, while a brace from Tyler VanKleef and efforts from Josh Martin, Brendan Baird and Ryan Watt sealed the win for the Bees.

Streatham gained a hard earned point on the road as they twice came from behind to level with Basingstoke in Hampshire. The game was tied at 3-3 at the end of regulation thanks to goals from Alex Roberts, Ryan Webb and Rupe Quiney, however an overtime winner by Russ Cowley gave the extra point to the Bison.

Streatham return to home ice this Sunday after a weekend on the road. The RedHawks host the Bracknell Bees at Streatham Arena at 6.45pm on 27th January, with a road game in Basingstoke 24 hours earlier. Tickets are available on the gate and online priced £12 adults and £7 concessions. At the game there will be the usual chance to win a cash jackpot on SCORO, plus the matchnight programme has all the usual features plus an interview with Rick Webb, priced £2.
